After being fired by Trump, Finch out to trump CatsArizona Daily Star

The last time many Tucsonans saw Jennie Finch, she was on the receiving end of a brush-back pitch from Donald Trump.
Tuesday night, she'll likely have a better outcome.
The former UA star will pitch for the U.S. national team against the Arizona Wildcats, USA coach Mike Candrea said Sunday.
Former UA hurler Alicia Hollowell also will pitch in the sold-out exhibition, which starts at 6 p.m. at Hillenbrand Stadium.
Cat Osterman, Monica Abbott and Lisa Fernandez — a veritable Mount Rushmore of softball's greatest-ever pitchers — might take the hill, too.
"My job is to make sure I don't screw it up, that's for sure," Candrea said, smiling.
Finch didn't seem to be smarting from her stint on "The Celebrity Apprentice." In late January, she was the fourth person "fired."
"Getting to meet Trace Adkins — I'm a big country music fan — that was fun," she said.
Finch — who was teamed with model Carol Alt, gymnast Nadia Comaneci and reality-show antagonist Omarosa Manigault Stallworth, among others — was competing on behalf of the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.
"I was bummed out for my charity," Finch said. "But other than that, I was excited to get home and get back on the field with my teammates."
