Disillusioned after two decommitments to Arizona, Abdul Gaddy decided to stay home Tuesday.
The top-10 point guard from Tacoma, Wash., said he committed to Washington.
"All the stuff happening in AZ," Gaddy said via text message. "It was a sign to stay home."
Gaddy first committed to UA in August 2007, then decommitted in May 2008 after coach Lute Olson's staff turned over, then recommitted in September, choosing UA over UCLA.
But three days after Olson retired on Thursday, Gaddy became the third and final UA 2009 recruit to decommit. His father, Abdul Gaddy Sr., said he did so because "it seemed like they didn't know what direction they were going to be going in."
Forward Mike Moser of Portland decommitted on Thursday, although he now says he will probably wait until the spring signing period and possibly re-consider the Wildcats. Forward Solomon Hill decommitted on Friday.
Arizona has no remaining players lined up to sign binding letters of intent during the November signing period for high school seniors.
