Girls — Amphitheater, Catalina Foothills, Glendale Copper Canyon, Desert Christian, Toronto Etobicoke Collegiate (Ontario), Marana, Pusch Ridge Christian, Rio Rico, Sabino, Chandler Seton Catholic, Sunnyside and Waterloo Oxford (Ontario)

• Why attend: A variety of styles and classes will be on display, such as the Pusch Ridge girls basketball team, a four-time defending 2A state champ, will be taking on the highest levels in the state. Those teams will include last year's 4A-II Gila Region regular-season champ, Rio Rico. That game will be played at 8:40 tonight. On the boys side, Sierra Vista Buena is the local favorite, but will be heavily tested by Phoenix-area powers Glendale Apollo (4A-I) and Mesa Westwood (5A-I), both of which are ranked in their conferences' top 10.
