At Casa Grande, Mountain View (2-4) earned its first win since Week 2 with new quarterback Evan Roberts calling the plays. Roberts' night was highlighted by a two-point conversion pass to Denny Hawkins in the third to take a 14-0 lead.
Mountain View, which ended a three-game losing streak with the win, hosts Sierra Vista Buena next Friday.
• Player of the game: Mountain View junior Myles Williams rushed for two touchdowns, one for 10 yards and another for 12. "He broke tackles tonight and carried for a lot of yards," said Mountain View coach Paul Schmidt. "He just had good speed."
