Friday's results:
• Tucson's Abdi Abdirahman won the 10,000 meters and will represent the United States in his third Olympic games.
• Former Wildcat swimmer Lacey Nymeyer earned a spot on the 4x100 relay team.
• Amanda Beard edged Tucson high schooler Caitlin Leverenz in the 200-meter breast stroke to make the team.
Today's competitions:
• Jill Camarena competes in the shot-put finals.
• Matt Grevers swims in the 100 butterfly final.
