Tucson, Arizona | Published: 10.05.2004
Early voting has begun
● Already rock-solid in your beliefs and itching to cast your vote for president of these United States? You definitely don't have to wait until the Nov. 2 election to do so.
Early voting is under way, allowing registered voters to do their civic duty by mail or at a number of sites around Pima County.
Mail-in ballots can be requested from the county Recorder's Office, 740-4330 or online at www.recorder .co.pima.az.us/search/ ballotrequest.htm
To return the mail-in ballot, place it in the postage-paid envelope provided, seal and sign the envelope, then do one of the following:
● Mail it to Pima County Recorder, P.O. Box 3145, Tucson AZ 85702-3145.
● Deliver it in person to 115 N. Church Ave.
● Drop it off at any Pima County polling place on election day.
You must sign the ballot envelope in order for your ballot to be processed. Ballots must be returned by 7 p.m. on election day.
And if you want to vote early in person, rather than by mail, here are some of the early voting sites (they're closed Monday, Oct. 11 for Columbus Day):
