SAHUARITA
1 A man was cited on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and released at 7:30 p.m. May 22 on the Nogales Highway. A police officer saw the man standing by a Honda ATV near the side of the road. He said the vehicle had broken down and he was trying to call someone to pick him up. He told police the vehicle belonged to his friend. According to the report, he agreed to let the officer search him. A marijuana smoking pipe was found in his pants pocket. He told the officer he forgot he had it. 
2A truck fire was reported at 12:49 p.m. May 19 on the Nogales Highway. Police talked to a man standing by the smoking truck and asked him how the fire started. He said he did not know. He told police there were several batteries in the truck bed that might have caught fire. Rural/Metro Fire Department firefighters made sure the fire was out. Several electronic items valued at $4,000 were destroyed. According to the report, the cause was unknown.
EAST SIDE
3A 26-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of possession of a narcotic drug at 2:05 p.m. June 2 in a wash near East Speedway and North Wentworth Road after someone reported a suspicious car in the wash. The man was standing behind the car, sweating profusely and moving around nervously. He told deputies the car belonged to his girlfriend, and he did not have any identification. Deputies found four needles, a metal spoon, a plastic bag containing cocaine and a plastic vial in his clothes. He said he was sick because he injected too much cocaine. He was taken to Tucson Medical Center, treated and released to deputies. He was also charged on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia and booked into the Pima County jail.
VAIL/CORONA DE TUCSON
4Theft was reported at 10:14 a.m. May 21 in the 14400 block of East Ranch Creek Place. The owner told deputies he recently bought the property and discovered a shed had been taken. He said the tenant moved and had left several cars in the shed. He told deputies the cars were supposed to be moved by May 20. The owner gave deputies the new address for the tenant, and the shed was found there. Deputies knocked on the door but no one answered. The incident is under investigation.
5Fraud was reported at 1:01 p.m. May 21 in the 14200 block of East Placita Rociana. A resident told deputies her bank notified her that someone had fraudulently used her account number to issue an electronic check for $349 to make a medical payment. She said that she was told they used her correct name but gave a different address.
6Larceny was reported at 6:55 p.m. May 21 at Quik Mart, 13142 E. Colossal Cave Road. An employee told deputies a man took two four-packs of an energy drink out of the cooler and ran out the front door. He said the man got into a green Jeep with three other men and they drove away.
7Theft was reported at 9:56 p.m. May 17 in the 12900 block of East Turtle Spring Place. A resident told deputies the following: She was moving items from her house into storage to prepare for an upcoming move. A friend of a friend showed up to help and started loading items into his truck. Among the items were 75 wine bottles, two flat-screen computer monitors, two pairs of shoes and two jackets. She went inside the house for a few minutes, and the man drove away with her belongings. She called him on his cellular phone several times, but he would not talk to her. He told the mutual friend he had her belongings and wanted to keep them. She received several text messages from the man stating he did not have her things and to leave him alone. The man's phone has been disconnected.
