Charlotte Richardson has cheerful words for her dog Shelby, who was being washed near the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson, which hosted a dog wash put on by Arizona Greyhound Rescue. About 75 people washed dogs Saturday during the four-hour event, raising about $1,600 to help find homes for racing greyhounds.
