Ironwood Ridge 67, Flowing Wells 14

Bobby Farley threw for more than 200 yards and two touchdowns, and he rushed for 90 yards and another touchdown, as Ironwood Ridge took a commanding 44-14 halftime lead en route to an easy victory at Flowing Wells.
With the score tied at 14, Farley connected with Bryan Martinez on a 38-yard strike to put the ball on the Flowing Wells' 9-yard line, before Farley ran it in for a 9-yard touchdown and a 20-14 lead for the Nighthawks (1-0).
Flowing Wells (0-1) was paced by senior running back Carlos Valenzuela who gained 91 yards on 13 carries.
Highlight reel: Nighthawks defensive lineman Mike Stefferson nailed quarterback David Zavala in the end zone for a safety, which gave Ironwood Ridge a 22-14 lead. Flowing Wells never scored again.
Player of the game: Bobby Farley, QB, Ironwood Ridge: He completed 13 of 14 passes in addition to his three scores.
By the numbers: Bryan Martinez caught five passes for 108 yards for the Nighthawks.
