gets a final once-over after his bath near the Veterinary Specialty Center of Tucson, 4909 N. La Cañada Drive, Saturday. Arizona Greyhound Rescue held the dog wash to benefit its adoption service, which helps place racing greyhounds in homes. About $1,600 was raised, said Mary Freeman, Arizona Greyhound Rescue president and adoption director.
