● "Firms to test huge ore deposit," Tuesday on D1, incorrectly said the Resolution Copper Mining federal land-swap proposal was backed by Gov. Janet Napolitano and other groups. Napolitano has expressed her support for the public-private partnership between Resolution and the federal government, but she has not endorsed the land-swap legislation under review by a congressional committee and wants environmental concerns addressed. The Arizona Game & Fish Department, The Nature Conservancy and Audubon Arizona have neither opposed nor endorsed the land swap.
● The headline "Expect a.m. backups on Swan Road near D-M," Wednesday on B4, was wrong. The backups are on eastbound Golf Links Road at Swan.
● "It's a seller's market for gas-miser autos," Wednesday on D1, swapped photos for the Honda Civic Hybrid and the Honda Fit. The Civic pictured is black; the Fit is red.
● "Prosecutors to seek death penalty in 2001 slaying of woman, 74," Wednesday on B2, incorrectly reported that Antonio Rosales and Dolores Netherton Salvatierra lived together. They lived on the same property, Salvatierra in a guesthouse and Rosales in the main house.
