Residents of Flagstaff and the surrounding area awoke Tuesday morning to snow. The National Weather Service said a late spring storm dumped 2 to 11 inches of snow in the area by midmorning. The weather service had issued a snow advisory until noon, but lifted the advisory about two hours early, saying the threat of additional significant snow accumulations had ended.
