Two people were injured Thursday morning in a rollover accident on Interstate 10 near the Sonoita exit.
The two women were westbound in a 2006 Nissan Titan when they rear-ended an empty car-hauler truck, according to the Arizona Department of Public Safety.
The truck rolled into the median, but no damage was sustained by the car-hauler.
The occupants of the Titan were taken to Tucson hospitals — one by air and the other by ground, the DPS said. The extents of their injuries were unknown.
The driver of the car-hauler was not injured.
The roadway was reopened after 9 a.m.
