A Tucson man was sentenced to eight years in prison Friday for the shooting death of a 26-year-old man last year.
Daniel Vega Haros, 22, pleaded guilty last month to negligent homicide.
Last November, he and Manuel F. Fimbres-Moreno were standing next to a vehicle arguing in the 800 block of West Alameda Street.
It is unclear what the dispute was about but Haros admitted to taking a gun from Fimbres-Moreno and shooting him five or six times, said Deputy Pima County Attorney Jonathan Mosher.
Pima County Superior Court Judge Edgar Acuña sentenced Haros.
