Favorite class: Orchestra. She's been playing string bass since fifth grade. "It's always been fun," Rose said.

Activities in school: In addition to orchestra, Rose is in drama class.

Activities outside of school: Rose enjoys church activities and helps with chores.

Whom would you have lunch with if you could have lunch with anyone? King Tut. "I've always been fascinated by Egypt's history," she said.

What books are you reading now? "Maximum Ride: The Angel Experiment" by James Patterson.

Whom do you admire most? Rose picked her sister, Grace Williams.

"She's always been very social, very talkative," Rose said. "When I needed help, she was always the one I would go to."

What's your favorite song? "Superman (It's Not Easy)" by Five for Fighting.

Plans after high school: Attend Brigham Young University and study to become an astronomer.

Dream job: To work as an astronomer at Kitt Peak. "It's really cool," Rose said.

Dream car: Anything that can go more than 50 miles per hour. "I'm not that picky."

Favorite place in Tucson: Nanini Branch Library.

Hidden talents: Singing, baby-sitting and playing the piano.

Vouch: "Rose is always on task, does excellent work and excels in everything she does, and communicates well with peers," said Edith Webber, her English teacher. "She is a lot of fun to have in class."
