In preparation for the Arizona Opera's season opener, the cast of "Die Fledermaus" assembled in full costume on Oct. 5, 1993. They were, from left, Laurel Boyd, Nolan Van Way, Helen Centner, Rebecca Ravenshaw and Gaylin Talbot. The general director of the company, Glynn Ross, was celebrating his 10th anniversary at the helm. Ross was credited with establishing financial stability for the opera group. Ross, who retired in 1998, died in 2005 at the age of 90.
