Several local road projects continue throughout the metro area. Some have changes for drivers to watch out for next week, including two Interstate 10 widening projects.

The traffic interchange and ramps at Pinal Air Park Road and I-10 are scheduled to close Tuesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be able to use Marana Road as an alternate route.

The interchange and ramps at Marana Road and I-10 are scheduled to close Wednesday from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. Drivers will be able to use Tangerine Road as an alternate.

Several nighttime lane closures are also scheduled in the project next week.

Each of the following closures is scheduled from 6:30 p.m. on the day listed until 5 a.m. the next day.

● The left lane of westbound I-10 is scheduled to close Sunday night between Tangerine and Pinal Air Park roads.

● The left lane of eastbound I-10 is scheduled to close Monday night between Tangerine and Pinal Air Park roads.

● The right lane of westbound I-10 is scheduled to close Thursday night between Tangerine and Pinal Air Park roads.

● The right lane of eastbound I-10 is scheduled to close Friday night between Tangerine and Pinal Air Park roads.

One lane of the Pima Mine Road bridge over Interstate 19 is scheduled to close Monday and Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day. The I-19 ramps will remain open, and flaggers will direct traffic on the bridge during the closure.

The left lane of northbound I-19 is also scheduled to close at Pima Mine Road from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday.

The left lane of southbound I-19 is scheduled to close from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m. at Pima Mine Road Tuesday from 6 a.m. to 4 p.m.

Drivers should expect delays during this work.

Officers will direct traffic on Thornydale Road at the intersections of Orange Grove, Costco Drive and Horizon Hills Drive Monday from 6 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.

As part of a sewer project, Prince Road is scheduled to close west of I-10 Tuesday through Saturday nights. The closures are scheduled from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. beginning Tuesday night and continuing each night through Saturday morning.

During the day, Prince Road will have one lane open, and flaggers will direct traffic through the work area. Suggested alternate routes include Fort Lowell Road, Sweetwater Drive and Commerce Drive.

The city is scheduled to do underground utility work Downtown next week, affecting drivers on Broadway, Congress Street and Scott Avenue each night from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m.

Intermittent closures are scheduled Wednesday night on north and southbound Scott Avenue. During these closures, turns from Broadway to Scott will be restricted.

Additional restrictions on Broadway at Scott are scheduled Thursday night.

Right-lane closures are scheduled on northbound Oracle between Catalina State Park and Rancho de Kuda from 6 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday. Lane restrictions are scheduled on northbound Oracle Tuesday between La Reserve Drive and the Honeywell entrance.

Lane closures are scheduled Monday through Friday on southbound Oracle from 300 feet north of Tangerine to Innovation Marketplace Drive. These closures are scheduled from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day.

Right-lane closures are scheduled on southbound Oracle Tuesday and Wednesday from 6 a.m. to 3 p.m. from the Cañada del Oro bridge to La Reserve Drive.

Westbound I-10 lane closures are scheduled between mileposts 226 and 218 Sunday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Eastbound I-10 lane closures are scheduled between mileposts 226 and 229 Sunday night from 8 p.m. to 6 a.m.

Intermittent lane restrictions are scheduled on Picacho Peak Road under I-10 Monday through Friday from 5 a.m. to 5 p.m. each day. Flaggers will direct traffic in the area.
