A second suspect is being sought in connection with the slayings of two men in April, sheriff's officials said.
The Pima County Sheriff's Department is looking for a man between 20 and 30 years old who it says was involved in the shooting of Paul Maldonado-Ortega and Roberto Martinez-Vielledent on April 5.
Maldonado-Ortega and Martinez-Vielledent were found dead inside a vehicle on April 5 in the 4600 block of East Calle Del Pantera, near North Swan Road.
The suspect was believed to have been living in Tempe or Mesa at the time of the slayings and may originally be from Michoacan state, Mexico, according to a Pima County Sheriff's Department press release.
His possible nicknames are "Flaco," "Rigo," or "Rodrigo," and he is described as having a thin build, the press release said.
The other suspect, Ismael Padilla Contreras, is being held in a Department of Corrections facility in Buckeye.
Padilla Contreras is awaiting transfer to Pima County.
