A Tucson man who died while hiking in the Catalina Foothills Sunday afternoon has been identified as Armen Dermen, an official said Monday.
Dermen, 77, died of natural causes, said Sgt. James Ogden, a spokesman for the Pima County Sheriff's Department.
He went for a hike while his wife was at church, Ogden said. When she returned home, Dermen's wife went looking for him.
His body was found on a trail about a mile south of Mount Lemmon Short Road, in the area of the Catalina Highway.
