![]() Who is INXS? In 1988, it was the hot Australian rock and new wave band that was winning over the hearts of teens from its hometown of Sydney to the Old Pueblo. More than 7,400 fans came together at the Tucson Convention Center on June 8, 1988, to give praise to lead singer Michael Hutchence and his five band members. Hutchence, left, died in 1997 at the age of 37, but the band did not stop performing for fans.
