Work began this month on widening North Oracle Road to six lanes between Tangerine Road and Calle Concordia.

A few closures were scheduled last week, and there's one more on the way next week.

The northbound right lane is scheduled to close Monday and Tuesday nights from the Cañada del Oro Bridge to Tangerine.

These closures are scheduled from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. and will allow crews to do work in the shoulder of the roadway.

Beginning Sunday, northbound North Thornydale Road traffic will be reduced to one lane between West Orange Grove Road and West Joiner Road.

Southbound River Road traffic will also be reduced to one lane in the same area. These restrictions are scheduled to remain through mid-June.

A frontage road closure continues in Marana from McDuff Road to Grier Road.

In addition, the left lane will be closed on I-10 in both direction nightly from mileposts 236 to 233 Monday through Thursday. These closures are scheduled to last from 7:30 p.m. to 5 a.m. nightly.
