The Pima County Sheriff's Department has identified a man who was killed in a rollover over the weekend.
Robert Daniel Rasor, 58, of Tucson, died after the white pickup he was in rolled Sunday afternoon on the South Side, said Deputy Dawn Hanke, a Pima County Sheriff's Department spokeswoman.
Rasor was a passenger in the pickup shortly after 4 p.m. as it sped north on South Contractors Way near East Ajo Way, not far from Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, Hanke said.
The driver of the truck, Phillip L. Woodyard, 44, lost control of it and it rolled onto its side, Hanke said. Woodyard was not seriously hurt and he was later booked into the Pima County jail on suspicion of manslaughter, Hanke said.
According to jail records Woodyard lives in the 4200 block of East Benson Highway.
Investigators believe alcohol may have been a factor in the crash, Hanke said. She did not know if Rasor was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash.
