A committee established to solve problems between Davis-Monthan Air Force Base and the surrounding community will meet on Wednesday.
Members of the group will hear reports on aspects of D-M's impact on Tucson from newly formed subcommittees.
The subcommittees of the Military Community Relations Committee were created to focus on three specific areas: base operations, land use around D-M and communications.
In the coming months, the subcommittees will focus on concerns related to the three areas in an effort to find solutions to ongoing problems, according to a meeting agenda.
The larger committee, which was formed as part of an effort by D-M officials to find solutions to community concerns about the base, will meet at 6 p.m. in the Copper Room at Randolph Municipal Golf Course, 600 S. Alvernon Way.
