A man died early Sunday morning after being shot while stopped at a red light on the North Side, Tucson Police officials said.
Rolando Garrato-Estrada, 31, was killed at the intersection of West Glenn Street and North Oracle Road, said Officer Chuck Rydzak, a police spokes-man.
Garrato-Estrada was struck by gunshots that came from outside his car, but police don't know where or whom the gunfire came from, Rydzak said.
"It's unknown who, where or why," Rydzak said of the shots. "There's no motive, no reason, no direction, no gunman."
Garrato-Estrada was found in his car at about 2 a.m. by police officers. He was taken to a hospital, where he later died, Ryd-zak said.
