OV police seek shooter in '06 death

When and Where: Nov. 4, 2006, in the 600 block of East Rancho Catalina Place, near North Oracle and West Magee roads.
The Victim: Scott Wayne Brannon, 34.
Investigators: Detective Dan Horetski, with the Oro Valley Police Department's criminal investigations unit.
Summary: Brannon was found shot to death in his Oro Valley home about 1:30 a.m. by his roommate, according to Arizona Daily Star archives.
The roommate called 911, and emergency responders declared Brannon dead at the scene
Investigators were still limited in the amount of information they could release about the case, said Liz Wright, a spokeswoman for the Oro Valley Police Department.
They haven't released a motive for the slaying but did say the house didn't appear to have been burglarized at the time of the slaying.
No information about how the shooter got into Brannon's house or whether the two may have known each other was released.
No arrests have been made nor suspects identified.
The Latest Information: There are no new leads in this case. Investigators are asking the public to come forward with any information they might have, Wright said.
