Two men, including a brother of the victim, have been arrested in connection with the shooting death of Robert R. Torrez, who was dropped off at St. Mary's Hospital Monday morning, Tucson Police said Wednesday.
Pablo M Torrez, 21, and Constantino O. Bracamonte, 26, were booked into the Pima County jail on first-degree murder charges under the felony murder rule, according to a statement from the Tucson Police Department.
Investigators said the shooting took place in the 1500 block of West Calle Guadalajara , a cul-de-sac near South Mission Road and West 44th Street.
Robert Torrez was dropped off after 1 a.m. Monday at the hospital and was pronounced dead from a gunshot, or gunshots, shortly after that.
The person who dropped him off was not identified, police said Monday.
The felony murder rule allows a person involved in a murder to be charged with the crime, even if he or she didn't actually commit the murder.
Investigators are not releasing any further details but are asking anyone with information to call 911 or 88-CRIME (882-7463).
