A 37-year-old man who was seriously injured in an East Side crash late last month died Thursday as a result of his injuries.
Daniel R. Lowe of Tucson was hospitalized Nov. 20 after he was struck by a vehicle that had collided with two others seconds before, said Sgt. Fabian Pacheco, a Tucson Police Department spokesman.
The crash occurred around 7 p.m. when a woman was heading east on Broadway near Wilmot Road in a 2004 Jeep Liberty, police said at the time. She struck a vehicle that was stopped at a red light, forcing it into another vehicle.
She continued down Broadway toward Kolb, where she hit a 1994 Toyota truck being driven by Lowe as he was pulling out of a shopping center, police said.
The Jeep then was driven into the front of the Gaslight Print Shop before stopping.
As of the Thursday evening, the woman had not been charged because the investigation is ongoing, Pacheco said.
