Arizona continues to rank as one of the best states for businesses.
An e-mail survey of 458 chief executive officers across the country was conducted in December by the Chief Executive Group, publisher of Chief Executive Magazine.
According to the results, Texas ranked No. 1 in being business friendly. Nevada and Florida tied for second, followed by Arizona and North Carolina.
California was ranked the worst state, just below New York, Massachusetts and Washington, D.C.
