A man wanted in connection with a slaying in Maricopa County turned himself in at the Lukeville port of entry Sunday afternoon.
Salvador Salinas-Sanchez was taken into custody and booked into the Pima County jail where he remained Monday morning.
He turned himself in just before 3 p.m., telling officials there that he was wanted for murder, according to a news release from U.S. Customs and Border Protection.
He is also being held on charged of first-degree burglary and endangerment.
No further information was available on the homicide in which he is believed to be involved.
