John Lennon Birthday Bash tonight
Today would have been the 68th birthday of the late, great songwriter and music legend John Lennon. In tribute, the Loft Cinema is holding a John Lennon Birthday Bash and Beatles Singalong at 7 tonight. Admission is $5. There’s going to be a Beatles/John and Yoko lookalike contest, subtitled Beatles music and videos, and a showing of the 1988 documentary “Imagine: John Lennon.”

SAHBA’s 37th Annual Fall Home and Garden Show

Make Tucson Airport a destination on Saturday
Tucson Airport Authority celebrates its 60th anniversary, and the Tucson International Airport’s air traffic control tower turns 50, with an open house Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.
It’s a full day of tours, aircraft displays, music (including the Carnivaleros at 2 p.m., and more. Events and parking are all free. And you could win tickets to anywhere Southwest Airlines flies.
