The Drexel Heights Fire District is investigating the cause of a fire that broke out at a mobile home on the far Southwest Side this morning.
The call for the fire in the 5000 block of West Tillery Street — near West Valencia and South Mark roads — came in at 3:11 a.m., according to Tracy Koslowski, a Drexel Heights spokeswoman.
When firefighters arrived, they found the home engulfed in flames, she said.
Fifteen firefighters fought the blaze and had it under control by 3:38 a.m., Koslowski said.
No injuries were reported and no one was home at the time, she added.
