Man charged in University of Arizona dorm sex assault let in by roommate

A man accused of sexually assaulting a University of Arizona student gained access to the young woman’s room with the permission of her roommate, according to a court document.
The incident occurred Wednesday at Coronado Hall, 822 E. Fifth Street, around 4:30 a.m.
The victim was asleep when Aaron Matthew Breslow, 20, reportedly went in and began sexually assaulting her, according to an interim complaint released Thursday to the Arizona Daily Star.
The victim assumed that the person touching her was someone else because she could not see Breslow — whom she had never met before, the complaint said.
When the victim realized that he was not the person she was expecting, Breslow left.
Breslow is not believed to be involved in any other incidents, according to Sgt. Juan Alvarez of the University of Arizona Police Department.
Breslow is not a student at the UA. He is now facing three counts of sexual assault and one count of sexual abuse.
Early in the investigation, officers were able to identify Breslow as the suspect and tracked him down on campus near Second Street and Vine Avenue about 3:30 p.m., Alvarez said.
He was booked into the Pima County jail where he remained Thursday.
