Man shot, killed outside his South Tucson home

A man was fatally shot during an argument outside his home in the city of South Tucson on Tuesday morning, police said.
Police were called to the 100 block of East 33rd Street and found the victim with in life-threatening condition. The victim, whose name is being withheld, was taken to University Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 12:25 p.m.
Witnesses told police the man was outside his home talking to another man when the shooter walked up to him and fired a small handgun. The shooter then ran to a car waiting a block west of the incident, according to a news release from Sgt. Richard Muñoz, who did not return calls for further comment.
The victim’s wife was inside the residence at the time of the shooting.
The shooter is described as a man roughly 25 to 30 years old, 180 pounds, wearing black jeans and a black shirt with a gold snake design on the front. The getaway driver is described as a man with his hair in braids.
Anyone with information about the shooting is asked to call 911 or 88-CRIME.
