Arizona Wildcats baseball: 8 more players taken today in MLB draft

One day after two Arizona Wildcats were selected in the first round of the Major League Baseball draft, the team's players were selected at a dizzying pace today.
Eight Wildcats have been selected today - in addition to three Thursday - through the first 22 rounds of the draft. A brief rundown:
— Outfielder Jon Gaston was selected by the Houston Astros in the seventh round.
— Pitcher Eric Berger was picked by Cleveland in the eighth
— Pitchers Mike Colla and David Coulon were taken in Round 14 by Pittsburgh and Minnesota, respectively.
— C.J. Ziegler was taken in Round 16 by San Francisco, and Brad Glenn in Round 17 by Oakland.
— Pitcher Preston Guilmet and infielder Colt Sedrook were selected back to the back in the 22nd round
— Guilmet by Oakland and Sedbrook by St. Louis.
Also, Sabino High School's Jake Hanson was picked in Round 14 by Atlanta.
Three Wildcats were selected Thursday, the first day of the draft. Two - pitchers Ryan Perry and Daniel Schlereth - went in the first round.
The draft continued today with the start of Round 7, and lasts through 50 rounds.
