SEDONA – Sheriff's officials in Yavapai County have identified a hiker who died in a fall along a popular trail as a 68-year-old Sedona man.

Stephen Nahmanson was hiking in Fay Canyon Tuesday afternoon when he stepped out on a ledge, lost his footing and fell about 70 feet. He was dead when rescuers arrived at the scene.
