Border Patrol pot seizures exceed last year's record rate

U.S. Border Patrol agents have seized a record amount of marijuana in Arizona during the first 11 months of the fiscal year, which comes to a close at the end of September.
Marijuana seizures in the other Arizona sector have totaled another 46,100 pounds.
The Tucson sector total vastly exceeds the sector’s previous record of 616,534 pounds, set last year. According to the agency’s data, the sector became the tops in the nation for seizures after the 2002 fiscal year.
