Two people, including a Border Patrol agent, suffered minor injuries Friday
morning in a collision on the South Side, an official said.
The accident occurred around 5:40 a.m. on South Alvernon Way near Interstate
10, said Deputy Dawn Barkman, a Pima County Sheriff's Department
spokeswoman.
The agent's vehicle was struck on the passenger side by a northbound vehicle
as the agent was making a left turn on a green arrow, Barkman said.
Both of the drivers were taken to a hospital to be treated for minor
injuries, Barkman said.
No citations have been issued and the investigation is ongoing.
