FORT APACHE INDIAN RESERVATION – The U.S. Bureau of Indian Affairs says there are now 13 victims of a rapist posing as a police officer.
The assistant agent in charge of the BIA says authorities tied two attacks in July to the rapist.
The exact ages of the victims have not being released because it's part of the investigation.
Residents of the tribal capital of Whiteriver are bolting their doors, walking in pairs and demanding their children are inside by sundown.
The victims are 12 girls and a young woman.
They say the attacker wears a dark shirt and hat with the word ''POLICE'' on it.
Victims told investigators the man raped them after telling them they were under arrest then handcuffing them.
Investigators describe the attacker only as an American Indian of medium build between 20 and 40 years old. As far as they know, the last attack was September 6.
