ELOY – Some people say you'd have to be crazy to go skydiving.
If that's true, some of the craziest people in the country are coming to Arizona next month for the 49th Annual National Skydiving Championships.
The competition attracts some of the nation's fastest and most extreme aerial athletes.
Organizers expect nearly 1,000 skydivers to show up at Skydive Arizona in Eloy in what is expected to be the largest national competition in history.
Competitors will participate in formation skydiving, skysurfing, freeflying, accuracy landing and canopy formation.
The championship will take place October 21 through the 28.
