El Charro Cafe has been awarded a three-year contract by the
University of Arizona to be the exclusive Mexican food service at all
UA athletic events, starting with the upcoming school year, the
company said.
A sampling of El Charro's menu items, including burritos, churros,
fresh salsas and Mexican sodas will be offered at events including
football, volleyball, basketball, baseball, softball and track.
Founded in 1922, El Charro operates four Tucson restaurants and a
full-service catering business.
