Vince Vaughn, left, and Owen Wilson star in the summer comedy smash "Wedding Crashers." Vaughn will emcee a Monday show here.

Hollywood actor Vince Vaughn will emcee an evening of comedy Monday at Centennial Hall.

Tucson is on his 30-gig, 30-day Vince Vaughn's Wild West Comedy Show, which set out from Los Angeles this past Monday and makes its way through the South and Midwest, wrapping up in Chicago on Oct. 11.

Comedians on the tour are:

● Bret "Captain America" Ernst, who headlines the Montreal Comedy Festival and is on Comedy Central's "Premium Blend."

● John "The Ohio Player" Caparulo, who has appeared on "The Tonight Show With Jay Leno."

● Ahmed "The Egyptian Lover" Ahmed of MTV's "Punk'd" and Comedy Central's "Tough Crowd."

● Sebastian "The Hit Man" Maniscalco of HBO's "New Faces" comedy special and Comedy Central's "Premium Blend."

Vaughn said in the Sept. 2 issue of Entertainment Weekly that his hosting style will be "just myself. . . . You come out, you try to make people feel comfortable, try to have fun. I don't want to pick on the audience - that's not my style. If there's any teasing, it's self-deprecating."

Although he's not doing stand-up, Vaughn could prove to be the tour's biggest star, thanks to his starring role in this summer's blockbuster comedy "Wedding Crashers."

Monday's show begins at 8 p.m. Tickets are $32 through the Centennial Hall box office, 621-3341.
