It took rocker Melissa Etheridge a dozen years to point her tour bus toward Tucson.
But on Oct. 30, she'll finally play an encore to her memorable 1992 concert at the Tucson Convention Center Music Hall.
This time, she's playing the nearly 5,000-capacity Casino del Sol AVA, an outdoor venue perfectly suited for Etheridge's high-energy, emotive and spunky pop-rock.
Etheridge's Halloween Eve concert is among a full slate of pop, rock, country and jazz concerts heading our way this fall.
Another highlight in the coming months is Tohono Chul Park's Fab Fall outdoor evening concert series. The series is Americana-themed and features the cream of Tucson's musical crop.
The offerings dip into the city's diverse culture and musical landscape, from Mariachi America presenting its blend of Latin classics to the 4th U.S. Cavalry Regimental Band of Fort Lowell pounding out flag-waving patriotic marches.
All of the shows listed below are subject to change. Other shows will be added in coming weeks and months. We'll keep you posted weekly in Caliente.
