Norberto "Nito" Bravo, who represented Tucson on television's "The Contender" last year, will fight Francisco Maldonado at Casino del Sol's AVA next Thursday night.
Bravo took fourth place in ESPN's battle of the boxers, and that brings us to this week's question: Which one of the 16 fighters won "The Contender" in 2006?
Those who answer correctly will be entered into a drawing for a Z-Force Ultra computer carrying case made by Victorinox that commemorates the May 5 championship match between Oscar De La Hoya and Floyd Mayweather.
Send your answer to Caliente, P.O. Box 26807, Tucson, AZ 85726-6807, or by e-mail to caliente@azstarnet.com by 5 p.m. Monday. Include your address and phone number.
Last week's winners: Robert Algeo, Jacki Boon, Sandee Brooke, Laura Cotter, Maureen Hughes, Michelle Kessler, Vera Longenecker, Carol McDonald, Sandra Shank, Bill Sklar and Dorothy Yanez.
They each received an audiobook. They knew that Al Pacino joined George Clooney, Brad Pitt and Matt Damon in "Ocean's Thirteen."
