No dice for Bice, but will Yamin lead an 'Idol' parade to town?

What becomes of an American who wants to be your idol but fails? We're now finding out.
Bo Bice was to become the latest "American Idol" castoff to visit Tucson — until his show at the Rialto was canceled Tuesday due to poor ticket sales.
But it's not lonely at the bottom. Earlier this year, "American Idol" lesser-than Chris Daughtry played The Rock, and also-ran Elliott Yamin will hit the Rialto on June 19.
Only time will tell whether being a performer on a reality show like "Idol" is really that much different in the long run from being a participant on a reality show like "The Real World." If your talent is questionable, the only real distinction now is that with "Idol" you can tour venues for a little while.
And then? Should have thought about that before you got on a reality show, Mr. Food Court Serenader.
Here are our playful predictions about when and where some "Idol" types will hit town:
Kelly Clarkson
When: Depends on construction schedule.
Where: The new Tucson Arena.
Jordin Sparks
When: 2008 (home state love).
Where: Casino del Sol's AVA.
Jennifer Hudson
When: 2009.
Where: Centennial Hall.
Taylor Hicks
When: 2008.
Where: Cactus Moon.
Clay Aiken
When: Late 2007.
Where: Woody's Bar on karaoke night.
Ruben Studdard
When: Any day now.
Where: Rialto.
Sanjaya Malakar
When: Very soon.
Where: Park Place mall.
Justin Guarini
When: Whenever his rent is due.
Where: Maybe Fenderskirts.
William Hung
When: He's waiting for your call.
Where: Just, please, call. Please?
