Several local groups have teamed up to host a "stuff the bus" school supplies drive to provide backpacks, notebooks, binders and other items for needy students in Tucson Unified School District.

The drive — sponsored by the Tucson Association of Realtors, TUSD, OfficeMax and Beaudry RV — began Thursday and runs through Aug. 2. The "bus" will actually be an RV donated by Beaudry. On weekdays during that time, people wishing to donate can drop off school supplies between 8 a.m. and 4 p.m. at the Tucson Association of Realtors, 2445 N. Tucson Blvd. Donations can also be left there from 7 to 10 a.m. Aug. 1.

From noon to 3 p.m. today, July 25 and 26 and Aug. 1 and 2, donations can be left at OfficeMax, 5550 E. Broadway.
