1 Burglary was reported at 12:49 p.m. Aug. 12 in the 2200 block of North Avenida Tabica. A resident said she found her door broken open when she came home for lunch. A television set, a DVD/VCR combination unit, 20 DVDs, a laptop computer, a PlayStation 2, an ornamental sword and other miscellaneous items were taken.
2 Burglary was reported at 1 a.m. Aug. 10 at Sahuarita Mission Apartments, 1091 W. Beta St. A resident told police someone kicked in her front door. She said she is the manager of the complex and believes someone is trying to frighten her. She told police several residents have recently been evicted, but she has not received any threats from them.
3 A man was cited on suspicion of possession of drug paraphernalia at 10:44 p.m. Aug. 8 and released near South La Villita and West El Toro roads after a traffic stop. The police officer asked about the marijuana smell coming from inside the car. He said he smoked the drug a few days ago and gave police permission to search the car. Several plastic bags containing marijuana residue were found stuffed inside a pocket on the back of the driver's seat. A partially smoked marijuana cigarette was found in the ashtray.
4 Vandalism was reported at 1:15 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 300 block of West Calle Montero. A resident told police someone pulled the wires out of several solar lights in his front yard. He said the lights were valued at $50.
5 Theft was reported at 8:18 a.m. Aug. 8 from a house under construction in the 800 block of West Via de Gala. The site superintendent told police the following: He made arrangements for an air-conditioner technician to service the system at the house on Aug. 6. They were scheduled to be at the house at 5 p.m., and he left the door unlocked. The technician never showed up due to a scheduling conflict, and the house was unlocked for almost 24 hours. He went to the house on the evening of Aug. 7 and discovered the stove had been stolen. He did not call 911 that night because he thought it was too late.

6 Fraud was reported at 11:51 a.m. Aug. 9 in the 13800 block of East Camino Costa Teguise. A resident told deputies she was checking her bank account online and discovered she was $600 overdrawn. She said she called the bank and was told someone had fraudulently made four $200 purchases. She told deputies the purchases were made at a Wal-Mart in New Jersey using her debit-card number.
7 An 18-year-old man was cited on suspicion of possession of marijuana at 12:10 p.m. Aug. 8 and released at Pantano School, 12775 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way. The principal told deputies the student usually turns in his lighter and lighter case to the office every morning before school begins. She said the case smelled like marijuana, and she found a plastic bag of the drug inside the case. The student told deputies he forgot he left the marijuana inside the case.
8 Fraud was reported at 7:29 p.m. Aug. 8 in the 3300 block of East Mescalero Drive. A resident told deputies someone fraudulently withdrew $1,900 from his savings account. He said the withdrawals were made in Phoenix.
9 A 16-year-old girl was cited on suspicion of underage drinking at 3:04 p.m. Aug. 7 at Cienega High School, 12775 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way. The assistant principal told deputies the girl had been in several arguments during lunch and smelled like alcohol. The girl admitted she drank a half-full water bottle of tequila at lunch. She was released to her mother.
