Council to meet Monday
Sahuarita's Town Council will meet at 6:30 p.m. Monday in the council chambers at Town Hall, 375 W. Sahuarita Center Way.
The council's March 10 meeting was canceled because four council members were in Washington, D.C., on official business.
The council usually meets on the second and fourth Mondays of the month.
Meeting agendas, minutes and audio recordings are available on the town's Web site, www.ci.sahuarita.az.us.

March 27 chamber mixer
The Green Valley-Sahuarita Chamber of Commerce's monthly mixer will begin at 5 p.m. March 27 at San Ignacio Golf Course, 4201 S. Camino Del Sol, Green Valley.

Take a tour of landfill
Reservations are being accepted by the Ward 2 Tucson City Council office for people who want to go on next month's tour of Los Reales landfill and recycling operations.
The tour will leave the Ward 2 office at 7575 E. Speedway at 8 a.m. April 12; the tour should be completed by about 12:30 p.m. Reservations are required and will be limited to the first 40 people.
Ward 2 Councilman Rodney Glassman is continuing a tradition of coordinating landfill tours established by his predecessor, Carol West.

Registration under way for Relay for Life
Friday is the deadline to get a free T-shirt for joining a committee, forming a team or volunteering for a May fundraising event in Vail to help fight cancer.
Relay for Life of Vail will be held May 2-3 at Empire High School, 10701 E. Mary Ann Cleveland Way.
Those who sign up by Friday will get a T-shirt.
