Attacker who skipped probation in '98 sought

The Fugitive: Jonathan Barrett Edgar, 32.
When and Where: March 9, 1997, in the 3600 block of South Yukon Place.
Investigators: Ruben Rosales of the Pima County Adult Probation Warrants Unit.
Summary: A woman was awakened by the sound of the sliding-glass door to her home being shaken, according to court documents. Upon realizing that lights had been turned on in another part of the house, she got out of bed to check.
In the kitchen, she found her husband who had moved out a few days earlier as they were in the process of separating, documents state. Edgar told the woman not to worry, that he was simply there to collect some of his property, but he proceeded to pull out a rope with which he tied her up and sexually assaulted her.
After Edgar left, the woman called 911, documents state. A Tucson police officer spotted Edgar based on the description of the vehicle that the woman gave, and he was taken into custody.
Edgar was arrested on four counts of sexual assault, one count of kidnapping and one count of burglary, court documents show.
After the arrest, an official with the County Attorney's Office said Edgar had "serious problems with anger, jealousy and control issues."
The Latest Information: Edgar accepted a plea in which the sexual assault and kidnapping charges were dropped, according to court documents. He was convicted of burglary and sentenced to five years of intensive probation.
His probation was revoked in August 1998 after he changed his residence without permission and failed to be at a location that was specified on his schedule.
His current whereabouts are unknown.
Edgar is 6 feet tall, weighs about200 pounds and has brown hair and brown eyes. He has a "Goofy" tattoo on his left shoulder.
