A few weeks ago I saw a CMT video on the making of "Beer for My Horses" with Alan Jackson. It said it would be released in August. Was this an old video and I missed the movie? I have not seen it anywhere here in Tucson.

The comedy, which starred country star Toby Keith rather than Jackson, is about goofball lawmen who chase down a drug lord. "Beer" opened in limited release — skipping Tucson — back in August and roped in less than $1 million. The film trotted out on DVD Nov. 11. Variety's Joe Leydon wrote "Even ticket-buyers with a hearty appetite for hayseed humor may be repulsed by the coarse cornpone tomfoolery of 'Beer for My Horses.' "
