Stacked bill of rock at Plush Tuesday night

Tucson, Arizona | Published: 11.06.2008
If you like your guitars heavy and dirty, drums ominous and vocals pained, then Dead Confederate requests your presence at Plush on Tuesday.
The Athens, Ga., bands sounds like what would happen if the 2003 Kings of Leon became drunken, depressed aggressors, turned up the distortion on their guitars, and tried to channel the spirit of Kurt Cobain in a candlelit, story-night seance.
And that's just one act on this massive psych-rock bill.
Also playing is Tucson's Mostly Bears , The Boxing Lesson from Austin, Texas, and Boston's excellent Apollo Sunshine.
Admission to the 8:30 p.m. show is $7.
